This week I learned a lot about careers. I learned about the different things I can do with an education degree. I learned about the salary and other things about a bunch of careers. This semester I've leaned everything from being pregnant to toddlers and I think I leaned a lot.

This week I learned how to make a toddler learning environment.
It would cost a lot of money, a lot more than I expected it to. Toddlers also need a lot more toys and stuff to be in the daycare. I feel like it would be fun yet hard to make a daycare for toddlers. Yet, I learned a lot about it this week.

this past weekend I had the electronic baby. It was very hard but I kind of enjoyed it. I was very tired because I didn't get to sleep as much as I wanted to because the baby would sleep a lot. yet, I enjoyed getting to have that experience with the electronic baby. The experience was very realistic and helped me open my eyes a lot on parenting. I did not realize how much work babies are and how loud and heavy they are. I enjoyed the experience. I also learned a lot this week by watching inside out.

This week I leaned more about being a teacher and how it's hard to teach toddlers and how hard it is to make lessons plans and come up with creative effective ideas. I also get the electronics baby today so I'll learn more about what it's like to be a mom. I made a literacy cube this week which was cool and a very creative cool way to write a 'book' for toddlers that will be fun for them.

This week we watched Ariel to see how she is related to a toddler. It wasn't until now that I realized how much she acts like a riddle although in the movie it says that she is 16. We also took a lot of notes about toddlers and what they do and we learned slot about tantrums and why toddlers act the way they do. We watched funny videos and saw funny pictures of toddlers throwing fits for no reason and of teenagers acting like toddlers.

This week I leaned a lot in early childhood education. First, we played with shaving cream to determine if it was age appropriate for a toddler. We also watched a baby Einstein movie to determine that as well. We took a lot of notes about toddlers brain deleopment and leaned about the different types of development such as cognitive, physical and emotional etc. Finally, on Friday we did 5 tasks while imagining ourselves as toddlers and determined what was developed through doing that task and if it was age appropriate for 12 month olds, 24 month olds, or both.

This week I learned how hard it is to make an environment for infants. There is a lot of work and money that is put into creating a sufficient learning environment, I had no idea how much work it is. Plus a lot of different toys are needed for an infants education. And it's really hard to find ones that work correctly for each section.

This week I learned how hard it is to create a toy for an infant. I also learned it is very hard to come up with a lesson plan for infants hat actually help them.

10/9/15
This week in early childhood education I learned a lot. I learned about how toys can help enhance emotional physical and social behaviors in infants. I also learned that walker toys are more unsafe and don't help infants. Jumpers are way safer and have a better physical advancement on infants.

Blog 10/1/15
This week I leaned how immature high schoolers are. I learned that high schoolers are incapable of following directions and simply carrying around a bag of flour without feeling the need to destroy the styrofoam ball on top of it or without making plans to destroy the bag of flour on school campus and make the maintenance clean it up and ruin the chances of future classes getting to experience carrying around a flour baby for a week. I leaned about when babies accomplish certain things such as babies first smile around 2 months old. I also learned about the babies senses and how well they can see and how far they can see for a certain amount of time. This week I feel like I leaned a lot about babies and about the childishness of highschool students.

Tbis week I leaned that it's very hard to make a flour baby. I also learned that teens like to poke and mess with flour babies, as well as throw them and do as much as they can until the baby breaks. I also learned about babies from different cultures and how they're raised etc. I also Leander about weird but cool things babies do because of their reflexes. I learned a lot this week.

This week in class I learned about birth. I also learned about what midwives are and how natural birth can be safer and a life changing experience. Midwives help women give birth at the woman's home or are sometimes in the hospital room when the woman is giving birth and make sure the doctors do not trick the mother into doing sosmthing that is unnecessary to give birth. Natural births are safer and less expensive because the midwives do not pump unneeded medicine into your body unlike the hospital, and natural births are less harmful because their isn't medicine that can easily harm the baby. I learned that doctors have been tricking woman into getting cesarean sections instead of giving vaginal birth because they want the operation to go faster or because it is easier than vaginal birth. As well as all of that I've learned that the United States' births are two times as expensive as other countries' but we have more mother and infant deaths than any other country. I leaned a lot of interesting stuff this week.

Blog #2
This week I learned a lot about the end of a pregnancy and problems associated with pregnancy. First, I learned about the fetal stage and months 4-9 or until the birth of the baby. During this time mostly physical developments and the baby just getting larger in general is going on at this time. Second, I leaned about the science of the baby's creation such as their chromosomes and DNA as well as about twins, triplets, etc. Finally, I leafed about problems in pregnancy to the baby and or the mother. We covered a lot about fetal alcohol syndrome and fetal drug addiction, which is when the mother drinks alcohol and it does drugs while pregnant with the baby. Yet, everyone has different reactions to FAS and FDA so for some people if the mother had one drink the baby can get FAS and for others the mom can be a alcoholic and the baby and be little to not at all affected so it's referred to just not drink or do drugs while pregnant at all since their is no way of telling how you and or your baby will be affected. I learned a lot this week.

Last week in Early Childhood Education I learned about many things. First, I leaned about early signs of pregnancy which are a missed menstrutal period, feeling tired and faint, etc. The normal length of a pregnancy is about 40 weeks or 9 months. I also learned about how the baby is formed (fertilization of egg). Finally, I leaned about the germinal embryonic and fetal stages (the first 3 months), the baby is first called a zygote then a embryo then finally a fetus before the baby is born.
During this week I've leaned how important the first three months of a pregnancy is, and how much happens within the first three months (mostly the first month) of the development of the baby.
